Who operates Artāwhai

Artāwhai is operated from Aotearoa New Zealand. Privacy questions can be sent to artawhai@gmail.com.

Information collected

Artāwhai collects account details, public artist-profile information, artwork records and images, enquiries, support messages, reports, technical logs and interaction information used to operate and improve the beta.

Why it is used

Information is used to authenticate users, publish artist and artwork pages, support discovery, deliver enquiries, protect the platform, respond to reports, understand beta performance and communicate essential service information.

Public information

Published artist profiles, artwork details, images and official links are public. Artists should not publish private information they do not want publicly associated with their work.

Service providers and international processing

Artāwhai uses infrastructure providers including Supabase and Cloudflare. Information may therefore be processed or stored in countries other than the user’s own. Providers are used to host data, authenticate accounts, store images, deliver the platform and protect its operation.

Enquiries

When someone enquires about an artwork, their supplied contact details and message are made available to the relevant artist so the parties can communicate directly.

Retention and security

Information is kept for as long as needed for the beta, legal obligations, dispute handling and platform security. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no online system can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Users may edit or remove published artwork through the Artist Studio. Requests to access, correct or delete other personal information can be sent to the contact email. Depending on location, additional privacy rights may apply.

Cookies

Authentication cookies are used to keep signed-in sessions working. Additional analytics or marketing cookies should not be introduced without updating this notice and providing appropriate controls.

Beta changes

This notice may be updated as Artāwhai develops. Material changes should be communicated through the platform or account email.
