01 · For artists
Make one artwork available for authorised digital display. It can be licensed once, ten times, one hundred times—or at global scale, many thousands of times—while the original remains yours.
One artwork can create repeated display income without separating the work from its artist, attribution or authorised record.

Indicative illustration only. This shows the mathematical result if one artwork holds the selected number of active private licences at an indicative NZ$10 monthly customer price. It uses an estimated artist return of about NZ$5.69 per licence after NZ GST, standard domestic card processing and the 70% artist share. It is not guaranteed income or a prediction of demand. Overseas taxes, currencies, payment methods, refunds and licence pricing may change the final amount.
Private licences create scale. Commercial screens, venues and networks can create higher-value opportunities, subject to the artist's permissions.

During beta, Artāwhai connects each display to an artwork record, artist attribution, permissions and licence history. Advanced controlled delivery, licence-specific forensic watermarking and cryptographic provenance are planned protection layers and are not yet presented as copy-proof technology.
A display licence permits display only. It does not grant permission to copy, scrape, train an AI system on the work, create derivatives, resell the file or remove attribution. No digital service can guarantee that misuse will never occur; Artāwhai is designed to preserve attribution, permissions and evidence so artists have a clearer route to verification and action.

During beta, Artāwhai uses display-ready versions and permission records. Stronger expiring, licence-bound delivery is the next security build.
Artwork records, attribution and licence history are live foundations. Forensic marking and cryptographic credentials remain clearly labelled as planned layers until implemented.
03 · Every display is a doorway
Every Artāwhai display carries a scannable QR portal back to the artwork record and the human artist behind it. A viewer can discover the story, follow the artist, request a display licence, enquire about the original, or commission new work.
